[ARCHIVED] Detectives seeking help identifying persons of interest in homicide

09-12-18: Homicide - 5100 Evergreen Wy

Detectives are seeking help to identify persons of interest in the homicide of a homeless Everett man.

At about 5:00 am on July 28th, three people were seen walking in the area of 5130 Evergreen Way on video surveillance. As they pass a homeless man, the video shows the tallest person turn towards the man and initiate a confrontation. During the interaction, the man is shot; he collapses and dies at the scene. All three suspects then run northbound.

At this time, none of the three have been identified.

The taller person appears to be white, and is seen wearing light colored shorts with a dark sweatshirt. The other two appear to be much shorter and are wearing dark clothing.

The homeless man has been identified as 47 year-old Charles K. Wall by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
