[ARCHIVED] Fire Extinguisher Training Class

3 fire extinguishers

The Everett Fire Marshal’s Office is excited to offer a free fire extinguisher training class to the public on Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 9am-11am. The course is one hour long with staggered start times. Pre-registration is required and seats are limited to the first 48 students. To register, please visit https://bit.ly/2Iy9j5H.

This free course will be taught by Everett firefighters. The course consists of 30 minutes of lecture and 30 minutes of hands-on, live fire training. We will be running three groups of 16 with staggered start times at half hour intervals. On the interest sheet, please pick which time is best for you. We will do our best to accommodate your request; however, based on registrations and the number of requests, we may need to place you in a different class start time.

All training is outside at our fire drill field, 6201 Berkshire Dr. Everett WA 98203. We encourage students to dress for the weather, to include proper shoes that are closed-toed.  The Everett Fire Department will supply all the training materials with the exception of eye protection and gloves, which at minimum must have leather palms. If you are unable to supply your own eye protection and gloves, please indicate that on the interest form so we can help you meet those needs.

We look forward to meeting our community at this training.
