WHAT: Ten fire departments in Snohomish County are launching a firefighter recruit academy (see accompanying press release) this month. On March 26, the 27 recruits will be undergoing a Fire Chief’s Inspection and participating in a Challenge Course of basic firefighting skills including fire hose drills, ladder climbing, hoisting tools and search and rescue.
