EVERETT – Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are investigating a shooting that injured a juvenile at a local Everett party.
Just before 12:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of 35th St on the report of a shots being fired. Arriving officers found a 15 year-old male had been shot multiple times. He was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for treatment but was later transferred to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Investigating officers believe a large party drew unwanted guests and an altercation occurred. The 15 year-old was assaulted outside of the residence then multiple shots were fired. The juvenile was injured and the suspects fled the area in a vehicle.
Detectives will investigate the incident, but many witnesses were not cooperative. At this time, no suspects have been identified.
There is no update on the condition of the juvenile male, who is an Everett resident.
