Council Comments/Liaison Reports
(1) Adopt Resolution authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $2,946,401.90 for the period of August 6, 2022 through August 12, 2022.
(2) Adopt Resolution authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $1,402,282.61 for the period of August 13, 2022 through August 19, 2022.
(3) Adopt Resolution authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $4,536,696.15 for the period ending August 19, 2022.
(4) Authorize city staff to apply for and the Mayor to approve and sign all documents relating to the 2023-2025 Green Transportation Grant competition and all documents relating to acceptance of the grant.
(5) Authorize release of the request for proposal #2022-078 General RFP for Parks Partnerships.
(6) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement for 2022-2025 On-call Structural Support services with TranTech Engineering, LLC.
(7) Authorize staff to apply for the Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update Grant provided by the State Department of Commerce and further authorize the Mayor to sign the contract and all necessary grant paperwork to execute the grant.
(8) Award and authorize the purchase of one 2023 Ford F150 Lightning Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) with Clary Longview LLC dba Bud Clary Ford/Hyundai from Washington State Department of Enterprise Services Contract #05916/COE #2018-117 for $52,840.66 including Washington state sales tax.
(9) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 3 to the Corvel Corporation Agreement to renew for worker’s compensation administrative services.
(10) Conduct a public hearing for the Everett Transit 2022-2027 Transit Development Plan and 2021 Annual Report.
(11) CB 2207-35 – Adopt an Ordinance amending the Everett Municipal Code to bring it into conformity with recently enacted changes in state housing laws, amending EMC chapters 15.02 Land Use and Project Review Procedures, 19.04 Definitions, 19.05 Uses, 19.08 Residential Uses and Development Standards, 19.13 Specific Use Standards, and 19.34 Parking, Loading and Access Requirements. (12) CB 2207-36 – Adopt an Ordinance amending the Everett Municipal Code to bring it into conformity with recently enacted changes in state housing laws, Relating to Removing Limits on Number of Residents in a Dwelling; amending EMC Chapters 19.04 Definitions, 19.05 Uses, 19.08 Residential Uses and Development Standards, and 19.34 Parking, Loading and Access Requirements. (13) CB 2207-37 – 3rd and Final Reading - Adopt an Ordinance creating a Special Construction Project entitled “Clark Park Gazebo Renovation”, Fund 354, Program 078, to accumulate costs for the project in the amount of $30,000.
(14) CB 2207-38 – 3rd and Final Reading - Adopt an Ordinance creating a Special Construction Project entitled “Forest Park Spray Pad Recirculation Project”, Fund 354, Program 079, to accumulate costs for the project in the amount of $60,000.
(15) CB 2207-39 – 3rd and Final Reading - Adopt an Ordinance creating a Special Improvement Project entitled “Lowell Riverfront Park Renovation”, Fund 354, Program 080, to accumulate project costs in the amount of $250,000.
(16) Authorize the Mayor to Sign the Release and Settlement Agreement with Thompson Metal Fabrication in substantially the form provided.
