Stormwater Management Program (SWMP)

The City’s Stormwater Management Program document describes actions the city will take throughout the year 2018 to maintain compliance with the Permit's Stormwater Management Program conditions, which are designed to reduce stormwater runoff pollution to Everett's waterways.

The Municipal Stormwater Permit is a requirement of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permits Program in the Federal Clean Water Act. Permit authority in Washington State has been delegated to the State Department of Ecology. Ecology issued a Phase II Municipal Stormwater General Permit to more than 80 municipalities, including Everett, in 2013.
