Scholarships
We offer Everett area residents the opportunity to participate in diverse, challenging and high-quality recreation programs that are accessible and affordable.
Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible to receive a scholarship, an applicant must be an Everett resident and provide documentation to prove the need for assistance. We offer discounts of up to 70% for program fees and a maximum of $70 in assistance. Only one scholarship is available per quarter per family member except for swim lessons. Two scholarships per quarter are available for swim lessons.
Apply
The Parks Department provides scholarships to those who might not be able to participate because of financial constraints. Scholarship applications (PDF) can be downloaded from our website or are now conveniently located at the Recreation Office. All information provided is confidential. Scholarship funding is provided by the Community Foundation of Snohomish County.
Help Grow the Parks Scholarship Fund
Plant seeds for a healthy community by helping families who need financial assistance register for recreation programs. Activities, such as swim lessons and preschool, teach social and life skills that build foundations for resilience, health and success.
The Community Foundation of Snohomish County established an endowment fund for Everett Parks & Community Services to finance scholarships and other important parks and community service initiatives. Contributions are needed to help keep the endowment strong. Your donation is appreciated!
