If you agree you have committed the infraction(s) and you want to explain the circumstances to the judge, mark the “corresponding” box on the back or bottom of the ticket and mail it or bring it to the court within 30 days of the date of the infraction.
The court will schedule a hearing upon receipt of your request. You must appear for that hearing. Failure to appear will result in consequences. You can ask witnesses to be present but they are not required to appear.
A finding of committed will be reported to the Department of Licensing. In some cases, the court may allow extended payments or reduce the penalty.
