About the Board

The Everett Cultural Arts Commission, established in 1974, is a citizen advisory board composed of 11 members appointed by the mayor and City Council. Commission members include:

  • Artists
  • Arts professionals
  • Citizens with strong links to Everett’s arts community

Responsibilities

Quarterly Meetings

The next hybrid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 5 p.m.

Subcommittee Meetings

At the September 10, 2024, meeting, the commission voted to move to a subcommittee workflow model and the subcommittees are as follows:

  • Public Art
  • Events and Placemaking
  • Devlopment and Outreach

Outside of the quarterly meetings, commissioners and subject matter experts will meet monthly to further initiatives in those three areas in all months besides July and August.
