About the Safe Community Committee Meeting

The Safe Community Committee meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month to discuss prevention and intervention of violent crimes, public safety ordinances to address quality of life, traffic safety issues, emergency management and code enforcement. The meeting consists of City Councilmembers, as well as staff liaisons from the City's police, fire, emergency management, code enforcement and community, planning and economic departments. Councilmembers are briefed and given an opportunity to ask pertinent questions on matters to be scheduled on a future agenda.
