Specific Amendment Request (Docket)
The city has received applications for amendments to the city’s comprehensive plan and/or development regulations (also known as the Unified Development Code, zoning code, or Title 19 EMC) to be included in the 2044 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update process.
Applications were reviewed by city staff, who made a recommendation to the planning commission on which applications should be advanced for further consideration in the periodic update. The planning commission meeting was held on July 18, 2023 to consider the specific amendment requests.
Planning Commission approved Resolution 2023-02 recommending that City Council consider that the specific amendment requests advance for further consideration and be incorporated into the periodic update environmental review process, enabling a decision along with the rest of the periodic update.
Those who have provided written comments or testified at the Planning Commission meetings will be notified of the City Council public hearing. If you would like to be added to that mailing list, please contact Karen Stewart at 425-257-7186 or kstewart@everettwa.gov.
