Cybersecurity

see yourself in cyber

People are the bedrock of good cybersecurity. Whether you're a private citizen, public servant, retired or in school, you can do your part to protect yourself and your community by taking simple steps:

  • Think before you click
  • Update your software
  • Have good strong passwords or a password keeper
  • Enable multi-factor authentication (meaning more than just a password)

The theme for 2022 National Cybersecurity Awareness Month is “See Yourself in Cyber.” The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) co-lead National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
