Spay and Neuter Resources

The Everett Animal Shelter offers low-cost spaying or neutering for privately owned pets of families that reside in Snohomish County and meet income qualifications - see below. 

To request an appointment please complete the following Spay/Neuter Request FormYou will be contacted within 10 days via email with next steps for scheduling. Please note that we have very limited availability and are currently booking 8-10 weeks out. We only offer public appointments Sunday-Wednesday at 8am. Please do not call the shelter regarding spay/neuter appointments, we will not be able to return any calls. 

Vaccines are offered at the time of spay/neuter surgery either at a reduced cost or free of charge thanks to a vaccine grant from Petco Love, as supplies are available.

Income Eligibility

Adjusted annual household income must be below the maximum income threshold for Snohomish County:

  • 1-person household: $47,950
  • 2-person household: $54,800
  • 3 people: $61,650
  • 4 people: $68,500
  • 5 people: $74,000
  • 6 people: $79,500

The following animal welfare non-profit agencies have spay/neuter clinics and offer a variety of low-cost options for qualified low-income clients. Please contact the clinic for details on rates, other services, or to make an appointment.
